    Alpha Compact Pressure-Sensitive
    Wipe-On Label Applicator

    Weber’s Alpha Compact label applicator is a cost-effective solution to fast, reliable pressure-sensitive labeling. This system features a small footprint, yet employs a highly-accurate wipe-on method of application to affix p-s labels on the production line.

    The Alpha Compact unit automatically unwinds the supply roll and peels the labels f-rom their liner, then wipes them on to products, cartons and other packages as they travel past the system on a conveyor line. This system applies labels up to 4.7” wide and 11.8” long at speeds up to 164 feet per minute to a tolerance of ±0.03”.

    Weber’s versatile Alpha 86 Bottle Wrap System provides fast and accurate positioning of full, overlap and partial-wraps of pressure-sensitive labels on cylindrical containers.

    The system is capable of the superb placement accuracy of ±0.03” along with a maximum label dispense speed of 2400 inches per minute.     Finally, whe-re linear speeds, production rates, autonomy and labelling precision are peculiar elements for functioning of systems with high investment value it is available a model particularly performing version of the ALritma (model of proved reliability during the 5 years of its spread on the world market) called ALritmaXtra: is stronger and harder in the structure than the starting model; and it is also equipped with a 350 mm diameter unwind unit and an oversized and motorised rewinder unit for the silicon paper, to get more working autonomy: crucial c-haracteristic, this, above all when at 60 m/min (80 options) linear speeds and 800 pieces/min cruising rate, the unwind exhaustion happens quickly. In extreme cases it´s possible to resort also to a - no-stop - device between two labelling machines in cascade connection, that allows the unwind change without stopping the line.     The ALstep Labeling head is a compact-sized and low-cost applicator for self-adhesive labels, which can be easily integrated into already existing packaging lines. ALstep is based on a robust, reliable mechanical structure; it can be fitted into particularly restricted areas, also thanks to the side access web threading allowing a fast, easy label change over.

    ALstep labellers can hold label rolls up to 300 mm of diameter for a long operating time; it is equipped with a separate control box with cooling fan which makes it possible to operate it in harsh industrial environments. ALstep comes in both S and M versions, for label widths up to 100 and 200 mm. respectively. Its maximum label dispensing speed is as high as 30 m/min. (20 m/min. in the M version) thanks to a microprocessor-controlled stepper motor enabling the operator to enter all labelling parameters by means of the display and function keys. Such parameters are stored on EEPROM and automatically recalled by switching on the machine.

    Overview

    Panel Label ApplicatorThe robustly built, user-friendly C3 Panel Label Applicator offers wrap-around labelling of self-adhesive labels onto two or three sides of a tray or container. The pack is driven through the conveyor by powered side belts and a unique brush wiper assembly ensures 100% adhesion of the label onto the pack.

    The C3 Panel Label Applicator applies pre-printed labels. When a thermal transfer printer is incorporated with the machine, additional information, such as bar code, sell by and nutritional details, can be put onto the label prior to it being applied to the pack.
